Privacy Policy

BridgeMind (“BridgeMind”, “we”, “us”) builds BridgeAgent, the recursive software engineer. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it across the BridgeAgent website at bridgeagent.appand the BridgeAgent desktop app. BridgeMind's home is bridgemind.ai.

The short version

• The website collects your email addresswhen you join the waitlist. That's the point of the site.
• The desktop app runs on your machine. Your code, files, and AI provider keys stay local; you bring your own keys and your prompts go straight to the provider you configured.
• Voice features are the exception: audio is proxied through BridgeAgent servers to third-party AI providers for transcription, and is not stored by us.
• We don't sell your data. To anyone.

Information we collect

Waitlist signups

When you request access we collect the email address you submit. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes technical signals (such as your IP address and browser characteristics) to tell builders apart from bots; Turnstile is operated by Cloudflare under its own privacy policy. We use your email to tell you when your seat opens and to share major BridgeAgent updates. No spam, and you can unsubscribe from any message.

Usage analytics

We use privacy-respecting product analytics (PostHog) on the website to understand things like which pages get visited and whether the waitlist form works. This may include your IP address, device and browser information, and pages viewed. We use it to improve the product, not to build advertising profiles.

The desktop app

BridgeAgent is a bring-your-own-key (BYOK) agent that runs locally on your computer. Your source code, project files, prompts, and AI provider API keys are stored on your machine and sent directly from your machine to the AI providers you configure. We do not receive or store your code or your keys.

Voice features

When you use voice features, your audio is transmitted through BridgeAgent servers to third-party AI providers—currently Groq, OpenAI, and OpenRouter—for transcription and processing. Audio passes through our servers in transit only; we do not retain recordings. The providers process audio under their own privacy policies, and we recommend reviewing them.

How we use information

• To operate the waitlist and grant access to BridgeAgent.
• To send product updates you signed up for.
• To keep the site secure and abuse-free.
• To understand usage and ship a better product.
• To comply with legal obligations.

Sharing

We don't sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run BridgeAgent (hosting, email delivery, bot protection, analytics, and the AI providers described above), when the law requires it, or as part of a corporate transaction such as a merger or acquisition—in which case this policy continues to apply to information collected before the change.

Retention

We keep waitlist emails until you ask us to remove you or the waitlist is retired. Analytics data is retained per our analytics provider's standard windows. Voice audio is not retained by us.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email us and we'll handle it.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards—encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege infrastructure—to protect your information. No system is perfect, but the architecture is deliberately minimal: the less we collect, the less there is to protect.

Children

BridgeAgent is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We'll update this policy as BridgeAgent evolves. Material changes get a new “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and significant ones get an email to the waitlist.
